Wish it was aluminum, that would be sharp! Thing feels solid in the hand(s) with the nice hinge on the LCD which pivots around to close/open.
This unit is in my eyes one of the most well built items i've seen for a pocket device, all things considering made of plastic, its still well built. HDMI cable is nice to have with my monitorīuilt in battery lasts quite a while, and its quick to charge. (Macro is useless) something is better than nothing! :)

The still pics are better than the Sanyo HD camcorder but still grainy, but with the right lighting you can get a pretty good clear shot - (faster shutter speed).ĭecent light iso control, nice little LED I took an egg away since I thought there would be some easier functionality when physically holding and in the software. I understand recently a lot of camera companies have been making "cheaper" models and this is one of them for Toshiba, so my expectations are low. Overall its a great camera - I'm not a big-shot video guy. Overall Review: I bough an extended charge nokia BL-5C, i thought all BL-5C are all the same, but the toshiba one has the three copper connectors slightly further right than the nokia - that's my own fault for not doing enough research. Doesn't remember recording-preferences, meaning you always have to change settings everytime as opposed to just selecting a profile.(-0.5 egg) You have to go into the menu/setting every time. Can't quick-switch between recording modes, only 2 (maybe 3?) are pre-programmed in for switching. Still pics are better than expected (still not that great though)Ĭons: -Finger gets in way of lense sometimes because of the position of the zoom toggle (-0.5 egg) USB + wall connector-two ways to charge!!
